The inside lid bares the dedication From John and dated 1893 - 1931. The case dating to the early 1920's is in Superb condition - two tiny surface chips on the underside of the case of no consequence.        Dimensions: The Case measures 4 13/16 inches  long x 1 7/8 inches (lid slightly over-laps making the width 2 inches x 3/4 inch at the deepest point.      I strive to describe all my items in depth and as accurately and honestly as possible, please e-mail before the end of auction if you have any further questions.
