We were able to test this magnifier unit, and it performed admirably.  Unit powers on without difficulty, light comes on, and creates a perfect picture on the monitor.  In the pictures provided below, we tried to demonstrate the range of magnification that this unit has.  Also, the black lines that show-up above and below the words "Ninth Light" are from the Genie unit.  These lines are adjustable with the knobs on the front of the unit, and are used to highlight lines, and to help keep track of your place while reading.  They can be adjusted to the point they are no longer on the screen if that is desired. From our testing, we feel confident in saying that this unit is in perfect working order.  The winner of this auction will receive the Genie, the monitor (unless otherwise desired), a BNC cable to connect the unit to the monitor, and an applicable power cord.
